About MJ Roofing

For half a century, MJ Roofing has been a leader in the roofing industry in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Founded in 1959 by brothers Mike and Joe Prokopich, in the early years MJ Roofing specialized in residential roof replacement and repairs.

Satisfied customers soon asked if the brothers could tackle the roofing needs of not only their homes, but also of their businesses. By the 1980s, MJ Roofing had grown to focus exclusively on commercial roofing installation and maintenance.

By 1988, over 450 commercial customers subscribed to MJ Roofing's Planned Roof Management Program. Today, that number has grown to well over 1,000.

Twice the company's growth has meant a move to larger facilities. MJ Roofing's current 15,000-square-foot facility, located at 862 Dufferin Avenue, provides a base for 120 roofing professionals and a full-service fleet of 55 vehicles committed to 24/7 service to their customers.
